ABOUT ME:

 

I am an illustrator and toy artist originally from Cyprus, currently residing in Dubai.

 

I have been experimenting with character and environment creation for many years, using various mediums in both 2 and 3 dimensional realms. I spend my days illustrating, making art toys or spraying walls.

 

My current illustrative style is inspired by the lowbrow Kustom Kulture movement of the 1950s and 1960s, the dramatic shadows and shading of the comic noir genre, the playful environments of arcade style video games and the quirky exaggerated forms of 90s cartoons. I am also inspired by urban scenes, animated characters and graffiti.

 

My work has been featured in various online and print publications and in several group exhibitions such as Pictoplasma Berlin and in various galleries around Dubai and Cyprus.
